they could get a better buy on a full size radio with the tune up at no extra charge from Al at Sparkys

my buyer had no feedback at all and has only posted 13 times since joining in 2005.

I got the radio back and have done several days operation on it and I have not had any problems from it.

I have bought a bunch of stuff from Sparkys and have not had any problems. If there was an error on the order, he took care of it. As far as relying on e-mail to contact him, he is easier to reach on the phone which is how I prefer it anyway. He's busy working on radios and getting orders...

I got the radio back and it has not done anything at all like he described it was doing to him. He will get his money back but he will NOT get any extra for shipping it back to me.

I like some of the people that are there but I HATE the way that place is run, linx is a prick , reminds me of Josef Goebbels from hitlers staff.

I have both the new style and old style 148's and the new 148 is given a bum rap. It is a good radio no matter what folks are saying. I got mine thru Sparkys CB Shack, he tunes and aligns everything he sells as part of the purchase. Its a good radio, go for it.

I guess I will see if the radio does what he claims it did to him when it gets back. Other than the typical stuck meters and the clock resetting to 12 a couple of times, it worked well for me.
