I am going to run my 2547 into it. Problem is i dont know exactly what it deadkeys and swings ill check it out today. its peaked and tuned so it swings 12 on the radio's meter. 73's
Are you talking about an amateur amp here? if not please come on by the cb radios general discussion section and we can talk about linyars
i did one thing smart is i am going to stay away from 2x4's as i hear 2 into 4 is more than needed drive.

i would have bet $100 that radio would do 30+ watts and i would have been soooo wrong , lol http://cbworldinformer.com/200107/galaxy_dx_2547_performance.htm . i recall a post a while back about freecell knowing how to put a 1446 in a cobra 29 to bump it up . i wonder if he could do the same to a 2547 but with a variable so you could run a 2 pill up through a 8 pill ? or just let the 1446 do what it does barefoot .
