cobra 25 LTD classic

i have a cobra 25 ltd classic that has no keyup,,,,,,, recieve is fine & pa works fine,,,,,,,,but no dead key & mod. anybody help me with this plse. thanks...............

Could be blown final transistor and/or driver transistor. You get audio out of the PA just fine?

well, then you know it's not the mic (and a bunch of other parts). I'd look at the final transistor.

Go to rat shack and get your self a 3 in one meter Swr/RF power/Modulation meter. Their about 45 bucks, its not the best in the world for setting up a radio with but it will tell you if you have any rf power when you key up. I would recomend going to ebay for a better one if your funds allow.
