best final upgrade for a uniden 78ltw

so whats the most durable and cleanest transmitting final for a uniden ? would MOSFETS be better ?
 

Probably.

Any increase in power will never be noticed on the RX end.

A few dozen watts mean nothing in real world use.

I would have to say that if you're going to use a linear, then just leave the radio as it is now and don't bother with the final upgrade. If you have a 2078, go with it, or simply upgrade to a 1969. going MosFet is really of no practical use if you're going to use a linear.
