strange sound on amp

when i key up a strange sound comes out of the amp.changed mikes even went back to the stock mike. i can hear it and people on the other end hear it. just started today.amp is a texas star 500. any hints on what to check.thanks.:headbang
 

It's all them electrons getting kicked by that amplifier! Talk sweetly to it, pet it occasionally, that sort of thing. Works for me. If it doesn't work for you, threaten the sorry @#$%@# with a large hammer! That works too sometimes. Mine likes a particular kind of candy... ... you believing any of that? Oh well.

Hummmmmm? Buzzzzzz? Squeeeeellll ? Tick-Tick-Ticking? Noise comes in all flavours. What kind of "noise".

I found the C90 Capacitor, but I can not for the life of me find the C89 capacitor. Can or does anyone have a picture of the exact location of C89 ? Thank you in advance, Wes
