I purchased a galaxy dx55v from ebay the add stated it would do 75 watts and hooked it to a radio shack meter and wow it shows 125 watts so I think I got a great deal so my kwestion is can I drive a 2 pill amplifier with it or can I jus use it like it is to talk skip. new to all this cb stuff and I only bought it becuase the several guys at work have cb';s and use them at lunch break and it seems to be pretty cool.

Welcome to the forum. On your Galaxy i would find a more reliable meter to check the output wattage on that Galaxy 55v. I never seen one do 125 wts, Unless that has a RFX-175 installed on the back of that unit. But check the output before hooking up a 2-pill amp.
For that matter I've never seen one do 75. Hard pressed to get more than 45 max unless it's been modified with something.
