TH-D72: Equals character?

I'm trying to set up an alias with APRSLINK which requires sending an equal (=) character. I can't seem to get one through the 1,* or # keys.

Thoughts?

I tried to add an equal to my callsign in the software and it won't even show on the screen, doesn't work in a digipath either

But you can store messages in the TH-D72 with the software and the = seems to work

Resolved

I was able to find the equals by rotating the selector knob instead of using the keypad.
