cant post pics at the moment, but if there is a place where it shows how to add talkback i can certainly reverse engineer the mod. this is not variable talkback or switched its on 24/7 and annoying.:bored:

Don't have any talk back mod for the 29; but the Uniden 'Honest Abe' is the same radio. Tune-up info and some other stuff in link below. After tuning it up; it really did quite well. The receive is really remarkable in mine. Best to use a low-drive amp with it.

Pull the top off the radio, and look for this resistor on the bottom of the board under the external speaker jack.....if it is, remove it.
