Had two radios worked on yesterday at his shop, Hes mostly mail order but he told me to bring them up. Did a great job on my Grant and Galaxy 95t and price was real fair. Had everything needed to tune a radio right and knew how to use it. Was going to send them to DTB but I did not want to send them in the mail. Was 100 mile drive but thats part of it. If needing somthing CB related I would think he would be a great guy to handle it. I will use him again! He fixed it while I waited and saved me from driving another 200 miles roundtrip to pick it up. Site is working today,

Does this guy work out of his basement or something?

I was going to place an order and while driving thru Terre Haute, just pick the thing up. But I did a google earth search and it's a residential area.

I wouldn't worry about that. I ran a business out of my home for years; the low overhead of not having a business address keeps the price lower to you.

Understand, just that I figured this guy owns a store somewhere. I'd feel awkward showing up to pick up my new radio at someones house unless I knew for sure that's where they were.

The AM power regulator went out on the Grant. Cold solder joint on the 95t. He put a small heatsink on the power regulator. He has a shop behind his house. He has everything needed to do great repair work. If I was going to pick up a radio I would just call first.

Hello gentlemen and Ladies. I have the dreaded RCI-2990 receive issue where my radio gets distorted when people get close to my location. I found the C90 Capacitor, but I can not for the life of me find the C89 capacitor. Can or does anyone have a picture of the exact location of C89 ? Thank you in advance, Wes
