so since there is such a big debate where i am about how much of a hack Chris Holland is even tho i'm sure he is not. if you have had any experiences with this man or his shop good or bad post them up on this thread (y):pop:

Chris quoted me a price to fix a damaged Omega Force, he got it done a week sooner than he said, did more than he was supposed to charged me the same quoted price and the radio works 110% so to me his is Aces in my book, I sent him another radio for repair because I think he is that good and thats from the east coast to the west, I sure coould have picked a lot of other shops in between, as one of my friends said " a good tech is never expensive he's priceless" so take that as my opinion:D

Brought a s45 and there problems with the nb and something else called Sam Louis he said to send it to someplace back east, I did but when I got the radio back one problem was fixed but the nb was still wired backwards call Sam again, he said send it to cris, i did got it back before he said I would everything was the way it should have been when it was new I'm happy, he did a good job for me!".".................Oldtimer:eek:

he seems to be very busy with about a 3 week turn around time I wouldn't call until after 3 weeks only because he's so busy. I called to make sure my radio got there just to check and am waiting going on 3 weeks now but he's worth the wait

I used to work at the "other" radio shop right around the corner literally from him. Although at the time we were competitors I must say they did a good job. Much better than the other "hack" shops that were in the area, and there were plenty of them. Chris was worthy competition, the other places were not.

So you're saying you worked at one of the other hack shops? well the work I received there was good I do have to say the service sucked monkey balls, oh! where's my Microphonium?

going on week # 3 with no call back just yet. i did call a week or two ago to ask if they received.
