hf radios with extended faceplates

What radios other then IC-7000 & Icom's line of 706's...have this capability?

Are you referring to HF rigs that can have the control head mounted separately from the main body? The Yaesu FT-857D can do this also. The upcoming Elecraft KX3 will have a remote mountable 100 watt amp, as well.

The Kenwood TS-480SAT/TS-480HX has a detachable control head too.

It's HF and 6 meters only rather than HF/VHF/UHF like the Icom rigs, but I know a couple of people that use them in their mobile setups and they really like them.
