Ranger RCI-2950 RX help

picked it up for $40.00 its pretty beat up but i got it up and running having an issue with SSB RX on USB & LSB, seems ppl sound 2 tones in octave, no matter how slow i turn the clarifier. yes its unlocked, but not a slider. the ppl i talk to on it said it sounds great and on AM & on SSB its super loud, so that's good.
any help would be greatly appreciated :blush:

Yea, if it's unlocked it's a slider??? Thats probably why it was 40 bucks.

Sorry its not unlocked. No one has any ideas on receive on ssb ?
