I had been hearing 60VR022 for the last 3 days but, the guy would never answer me!!!

So I said ok - it's time for more power right!! So I slipped the 2970n2 on line and after his first call, I dropped the hammer.......

Well he finally heard me and we had a nice chat for about 5 min. Tang is a young man and spoke very good english.

That's now my 2nd contact to Hong Kong....

Hi Andy,
I didn't here you today - were you tired from talking into Europe?

I shut the radio down for 2 hrs this morning, got tired of hearing Europe.

If you were up here, you would here a lot of noise, like what Andy said; FM and AM coming from Japan and Russia. Some of them guys in Russia running taxis are pushing lots of power and it really creates a mess.

Maybe. I'm still new to the finer details of all of this DX'ing. Finally got the beam working to the West after some things got sorted out.

Larry:
There was some FM noise when I heard 'Olga'(?).
It was banging in when she was talking . At first, I thought it was 4040's bleedover. But then I switched to FM to catch a snippet of a loud FM station. Gonna have to pay more attention to the Pacific tomorrow in the afternoon and get an earlier start on it.
