Yaesu FT-100D Trade question..

It covers a wide range of frequencies however not c-phone if i remember it goes from 500khz to 800 mhz ...

I never looked to see that mine covered from the am broadcast band up

Ive never got the chance to mess with one of these and Ive read that if you got a good one they were ok but if you got a bad one they were a nightmare.

from what i read it stops "hearing" at 502mhz? anything above that and its dead silent because the receiver cant pick anything up....
it appears this radio is not that good now, hard to find separation kit needs a "special" tuner..... and since the ($_$) folks on eBay want such high dollar its not worth the hassel? and i also too heard if you got a good one it was good if u got a bad one well oh well.... hihi
