Dacron Guy Rope?

Nothing but dacron on all of my base antennas.

Metal guy wires can add nasty harmonics when you transmit.

Just one reason dacron is used; the other is that it doesn't fall apart due to UV/sun exposure like other synthetics will.

As you can see from this pic, I use them at four different angles at two different heights. Even the rope just above the beam keeping it level/straight is a leftover piece I put to work.

Yes; I think they are 5/16" dia. Extremely strong stuff that dacron. You could easily lift a V8 motor out of a car with three ropes connected. Durable too. 50+ mph winds recemtly and all that happened was they got a bit loosened. Tightened them up and ready for the next wind blast.

Hello gentlemen and Ladies. I have the dreaded RCI-2990 receive issue where my radio gets distorted when people get close to my location. I found the C90 Capacitor, but I can not for the life of me find the C89 capacitor. Can or does anyone have a picture of the exact location of C89 ? Thank you in advance, Wes
