I have a Rci 2970n2 10/12 meter radio for sale it has been converted to 50/200watts to drive large amp. Comes with a astatic red devil power mic and instruction manual. Great shape but does has a few scratches on bottom 275.00 plus shipping

price drop

I had a friend post this radio on another site and he put it as 250.00 plus shipping so that's the price also I am listing this on several forums and for sale places hope this is not a problem for anybody but we are moving ( Lost house) so I am getting together funds for move thanks

Saw your ad when you originally posted it here. I have intended to ask what mods have you done to the radio? The 50/200 watt mod, I'm guessing is changing the output on AM & SSB. How old is the radio? Does it have the newer display with the black lettering?

Hello gentlemen and Ladies. I have the dreaded RCI-2990 receive issue where my radio gets distorted when people get close to my location. I found the C90 Capacitor, but I can not for the life of me find the C89 capacitor. Can or does anyone have a picture of the exact location of C89 ? Thank you in advance, Wes

Wes, it's better if you start a thread on the main forum, more people are going to see your question.
