try changing jumper between radio and amp
have you noticed any decrease in wattage from the amp??
does it have a variable?if so try a different spot on the variable control .

It's done the same amount of watts since I've had it. The variable knob has been bypassed so the variable controls the fan.

UPDATE: I talked a good bit today and had ZERO reports of my amp sizzling. I asked several people who I talk to regularly and they said it's clear as a bell. Maybe the dark cloud is passed over but I feel like I'm not out of the woods yet.
