That depends on what you are comparing it to.The 2960/General Grant are nothing special,they use a EPT6900 series board.There was also a 2960 JP without the frequency counter.

Same as the Golden Goose... er, I mean General Grant. I have a Gen. Grant. OK radio. Identical to the SS158EDX, except higher power. Same drift problems all 6900 boards have. Only difference is that the '158EDX has echo.
