can someone please explain the difference between the class of amps (like the class A,B,C AB bias) i really don't understand the differences. and i am looking to but a new amp so i need to understand whats what THANK YOU

Class C amps are going to be dirtier sounding and I wouldn't use one on SSB mode. As stated in a previous thread, you should try to stick to a AB class amp.
There is only two classes of cb amplifier, top class and shit.
most are SHIT, you get what you pay for.
If you want to buy an amplifier buy one that's been certified for amateur radio (not cheap, but one of the few ways to get a decent amplifier, unless you know a talented builder)
