Don't let this one get away!!!!

The "Men In Black" Cobra 148 GTL made in Taiwan!!! I remember bidding against this seller for that radio and it auctioned for $140 and now it's being sold for over $300. I sure didn't know the Taiwan radios were rare and better quality.....plus worth $300.

**MIB** Dynascan Cobra 148GTL 40 Channel AM/SSB CB Radio #2 - Taiwan | eBay

"FYI"......"MIB" does not stand for "Men in Black"..........

"MIB means "Mint IN Box"...:D

However he also says it does not have the paper work or owners manual in the box, so IMO "It's not Mint".......And if someone pays over $300 for this radio, they'er nuts...

Oh boy, this is going to be a good one. I can hardly wait to see Psycho's reply.

You must think I am an inbred that hangs out on mauldroppers. The radio is "supposed" to be new and unused so it should be NOS. The seller must be related to Superhawk and his $1500 Cobra 2000 GTL.
I sent a message to Superhawk stating that I have 2 NOS Cobra 2000 GTLs and I would sell them to him for $900 a piece. I said he would make $600 on each one but he didn't want them.......shocker!

That $300 may seem outrageous south of the 49th parallel, but in Canada ( the seller is in Saskatchewan) a new 148 GTL probably sells for close to $250 and buying one on line and having it shipped across the border won't save much but will give better selection.

I paid $45 got a 510XL at a truckstop in WI, that same radio at home sells for $100.

Hello gentlemen and Ladies. I have the dreaded RCI-2990 receive issue where my radio gets distorted when people get close to my location. I found the C90 Capacitor, but I can not for the life of me find the C89 capacitor. Can or does anyone have a picture of the exact location of C89 ? Thank you in advance, Wes
