My Classic shack. Mostly boat anchors and a few solid state rigs. I have added about 5 more radios since this pic. Swans and Heathkits. I collect, repair, buy and sell tube rigs.

In order for a radio to qualify as a boat anchor, you need a dolly cart or two men and a boy to move it. You dont have any boat anchors, but some very clean rigs anyway.:)

Very cool collection and nice setup. Now, about the amplifiers that are to the right...... do we get to see them, too??? (y)

Thanks.... I know your talking about the old Hammarlunds, Collins and Hallicrafters.... let me rephrase and say "Old Classics" I like running the tube radios.

Nice. Your boat-anchor "classic" setup is still light-years ahead of mine (a base CB with studio mic and audio processing).

I'm still studying up for those Tech and General licenses -- I'm not going to even monitor the Ham bands until I earn those. God, I can't wait to buy the equipment I have on my wishlist. Just don't tell my wife ahead of time -- she's going to be a little peeved. (y)
