Is there a replacement for the 2 digit display on the DX979 that can change from red and blue?

I love the intense blue during the day, but it is oppressively bright at night in the mobile, even with the dimmer turned down.

I've seen on Youtube how SNAKERADIOS will change out the led display for another color and use a lens to darken the led display but I don't know YET if a dimmer function can be added. I got to find out! op:

Sure there is. In fact, the new 979's come with the blue display (meter too).

I mean a display that I can change from blue (during the day) and red (at night).
