fan dipole with close frequency elements

Would it work to have a pair of elements on a fan dipole that are close on frequency? Say 51.000Mhz and 53.000Mhz... one would be horizontal the other vertical

Note... I hate predictive text. It chose 'duplex' instead of dipole

It would work but you would be better off running separate feedlines and using an antenna switch. Some guys run a fan dipole for just 80m with one wire cut to the bottom of the band around 3.6 MHz and another cut to the top end around 3.9 MHz. It works.

Hello gentlemen and Ladies. I have the dreaded RCI-2990 receive issue where my radio gets distorted when people get close to my location. I found the C90 Capacitor, but I can not for the life of me find the C89 capacitor. Can or does anyone have a picture of the exact location of C89 ? Thank you in advance, Wes
