Not sure if this was a valid contact or not but I can't see anyone going to all the trouble to work the digital modes as a pirate. The call was H7HGH, H7 is assigned to Nicaragua but the call doesn't show on QRZ/Hamcall. Guess I'll wait to see if it shows on LoTW/eQSL.

What database? QRZ only has access to databases from the FCC and Industry Canada. Foreign amateurs have to register their callsigns with QRZ to be listed.

Good eye there O.B. I didn't think about the grid. The N7HGH doesn't have an email address in QRZ/Hamcall so no way to email him. He's in the 10-10 db but nothing there either.

I'm going to change the log to N7HGH and let it ride like that. Most SA DX I get here in EL98 is overpowered and you can tell this signal was really down in the mud.
