Seems there are very few small amps out there that are any good. Copper had a big list at one time I see most places stoped selling RM Italy. You can still buy a Midnight special 250 and the like.Palomar and there clones Cobra etc. Gone. Texas Star still out there but most other boxes are class C

You have 3 small amp choices nowadays.....Crap, crappier, and crappiest, unless you go with a competition amp class B or C.
RMs suck and are not durable whatsoever.
Palomars suck but way more durable than the RMs.
Texas Stars are marginal and are WAY WAY overrated quality wise.
The only choices for people who want big AM performance and pretty good SSB are the X Force TNT amps.
It is a shame no one makes a nice quality amp like the Gray, Pride, and Messengers anymore.

I have a Texas Star 350 HDV. wanted to run something small low power 100 watts or so. My RM KL-203 crapped out :censored: Maby a one pill A TNT 100 may be the way to go.

If you only want around 100w, look into a high powered radio like a Stryker or Galaxy or Magnum, etc.

Bells knows how to work on radios and such and I'll bet you he knows how to tweak one as well. He got a Uniden Pro 505XL radio to swing to 30 watts when they'll normally do 8-10 watts from the factory. I have a 505 I bought from DTB Radio that I had him tune. 6 watt deadkey and 30 watt swing. I have a KL-203 but because I just bought it from someone and haven't had a tech tune it,I keep my radio's deadkey at 1 watt which deadkeys 35 watts out of the 203 and modulated to 90-100(110 whistling) on my 959.

Have you owned a TNT? Are they really better than the TS? I had an XForce once and I can't say it ever gave me any fits, but I never considered the TNT. I guess maybe because they look so gimmicky. I know they are probably identical to the MagnaForce, but that amp looked more serious.

I've had the TNT 350hd, as well as the 600hd and for a short time the T800. I liked the 350hd the best of the three. All performed very well on SSB and AM. I find that TS amps draw large amounts of power for what you get out.

I would expect a TS 350HD on one of the lower 2 settings with a low dead key would put out a 100 or so.
