AR 3500 ANL not working

Ordered a 30 Watt version AR-3500 with factory installed SP-1 and scan boards, factory palm scanner mic, looks very clean. Hardly a scratch! He said everything works very good except the ANL doesn't work and he wasn't sure if the factory mods may have overridden the ANL feature. Any ideas on a repair?

    Hello gentlemen and Ladies. I have the dreaded RCI-2990 receive issue where my radio gets distorted when people get close to my location. I found the C90 Capacitor, but I can not for the life of me find the C89 capacitor. Can or does anyone have a picture of the exact location of C89 ? Thank you in advance, Wes
