Any info on this amp?

this item is new old stock

Bullshit.
Someone has twiddled the vari-cap on the output tuning because when it was set on the assembly bench they put the red/brown paint on the screw so it will not move.
It is also a good way to see if someone has twiddled it.
I would suspect that the input tune has also been twiddled because of the scratches on the screw.
It not a horrible built, but the wood screws??
To lazy to tap threads in the heat sink maybe?

San Diego ca, that is where a lot of these small 2 transistor amps came from back in the day.

Someone played with it because the transistors aren't original, and also the amplifier was built in Fullerton, CA.

Hello gentlemen and Ladies. I have the dreaded RCI-2990 receive issue where my radio gets distorted when people get close to my location. I found the C90 Capacitor, but I can not for the life of me find the C89 capacitor. Can or does anyone have a picture of the exact location of C89 ? Thank you in advance, Wes
