Which one are "you" using and why ? Which one is better ? Mind you, to me new is not always better :D
 

I have the 436 and it's been great. I have not used the 396 but the reviews on the 436 have been tip top as far as I can tell.

The cost difference only being $60ish I'd go with the 436 as most tech - newer is better. Why are you thinking about the 396?

Thank you for your reply.

436HP is buggy and don't want to burn cash on something that will have problems. Want to wait till further down the road to buy one. I purchased a 396XT and I am happy.
