How to animate a .gif as your Avatar????

it's funky. the image url is showing a jpg image, but that file type does not support animation, but I can load the image url in a browser and it animates...

The point there is, you cannot save the file locally as an animated file type.

I did a google image search for animated icon or animated avatar or animated gif or whatever specific animated thing you're looking for.
