My review of Cobra UltraLight Senior

Now as for the review. It works well on all bands, even 160. I have had it since around july or so.

I use mine with an homebrew ugly balun. which you can see here.

You simply cannot beat this antenna for the money. All you need is a decent height and a good external tuner. Roller Inductor type preferred.

Please note: I have no flippin' idea why I called the tower a tree. LOL!

Cool video. I noticed that the manufacturer recommends a 4:1 current balun for easier matching, but you're using the "ugly balun". Have you tried the 4:1 to see if there is any noticeable difference?

I have a good friend that runs the Jr. version and loves it. Just the right size for his yard, too.

No, I haven't had the money to get one. This was cheaper, it was free. Friend of mine built it and gave it to me.
