Yes I still have my FT-950 and still enjoy using it...Fine Fine receiver and sounds great on the air!
I don't see that rig going anywhere unless it was to be replaced by another FT-3000D or a FT-5000MP

The 901 was Yaesu's top of the line rig in its day. I run one into a transverter and it's my 2/6 meter all mode. The only negative I can give is it does not have the WARC bands.
902 had WARC bands.
Hence the reason I would want it over the 901.
I love my TS-820S but would like a TS-830S for the WARC bands. I have an FT-857D but it is not nearly the performer as the older radios especially the RX.
