angled face project box?

I purchased one of these and need a box to install it in. I found one I like -

but it's only 4.3" wide and the meter is 5". anyone know where something similar is available in a 5.5"-6" wide format?
I've found something similar in the right size but they're 60$. considering the one I like is only 12$ and they're both from china, I don't get the price difference.

I assumed aluminum would be better than plastic, providing shielding from outside frequencies, am I wrong?

is there any instructions for these things in English without all the Chinese writing all over it?

nope. but if you go to page 7 there's enough to figure out where the power/ground wires go.
I had to request instructions, it came without even a link. it did come with the connectors to run to standard probe connectors on the underside of the case though.

I got it going but what is the df function do it toggles on or off
