home same as you!
ok so i have an alinco dx70
i dont have a watt meter and
they dont have the T or TH. stamped on the rear plate
( even though i have read they do)
i have seen both and niether say if its the T model or TH version

how do i tell???

True, but he doesn't have a watt meter. I don't see any other markings on my DX-70TH to indicate output. I have the original box and thats the only place the model TH is indicated. Buy or borrow a wattmeter :)

the TH models use FET transistors (MRF-255 ) for outputs, while the straight T model uses ( EIAJ) bipolar output transistors.

Hello gentlemen and Ladies. I have the dreaded RCI-2990 receive issue where my radio gets distorted when people get close to my location. I found the C90 Capacitor, but I can not for the life of me find the C89 capacitor. Can or does anyone have a picture of the exact location of C89 ? Thank you in advance, Wes

Wes, it's better if you start a thread on the main forum, more people are going to see your question.
