ALINCO DX70 i.d ?

ok so i have an alinco dx70
i dont have a watt meter and
they dont have the T or TH. stamped on the rear plate
( even though i have read they do)
i have seen both and niether say if its the T model or TH version

how do i tell???

Check your power output on 6m. The DX70T only has 10 watts output on that band whereas the DX70TH has 100 watts output. Everything else is the same.

True, but he doesn't have a watt meter. I don't see any other markings on my DX-70TH to indicate output. I have the original box and thats the only place the model TH is indicated. Buy or borrow a wattmeter

the TH models use FET transistors (MRF-255 ) for outputs, while the straight T model uses ( EIAJ) bipolar output transistors.
