I am in need of a schematic for a ranger 2527. Its display intermittently will not come on when you turn the radio in. If you turn it off and then turn it back on it displays.

Well, I trust it down to the display bored. The voltage stays to the display bored but sometimes when you turn it on it does not display frequency. Now I have to look and see if that board is available. Thank you so very much for the assistance. Hoo rah

before I did any thing else I would check for a cold solder joint at the board. by turning it off and back on will kind of surge the power so it could have a bad solder joint where it hooks to the main board or on the board for the freq counter.
rfparts carry's some parts for the board you are looking for. I have needed parts and even called them and it would not be on their web site but they would have the part.

Thank You Sonoma for the reply. I traced it down to the display board. I have RF Parts as an icon on my phone and use them quite often. I have not called them yet.

Hello gentlemen and Ladies. I have the dreaded RCI-2990 receive issue where my radio gets distorted when people get close to my location. I found the C90 Capacitor, but I can not for the life of me find the C89 capacitor. Can or does anyone have a picture of the exact location of C89 ? Thank you in advance, Wes
