Anyone have info on the Turner Base Kicker antenna

It's always interesting when a blast from the past shows up, kinda serves to validate that we were once young and the '70s actually DID happen, even IF we can't remember much from that party era...

So is yours the Jo Gunn Son-of-a-Gunn type we can see in this 14-day ebay auction, kinda like a Starduster except with a gamma match...

...or is it this really bizarre looking type:

?

NB....That's it in the picture above.

I remember the tri-kicker and the ultra-Kicker which both had electronically steerable elements similar to a Super scanner but more elements and more gain. Quite rare to see them even back in the hey-day of CB.

Matthew , thanq for the info on the antenna , if you have one in the box how about the element lengths , spacing between elements all the measurements a person would need to build and Model , It might take some time but they are a rare antenna . If you have the time .

The questions for making a model are what are parts 27 and 90 made out of. Are they metal or insulators?

Also, if part 90 is made of metal, is it electrically connected to the antenna at those points, or does the attachment method keep them isolated?

Matt
Here is my email ad murraylongstreet@hotmail.com
we can talk it over just so you know I am out west so shipping is $$ but I would pay full cost just to be able to measure and post so those out there who build can give it a go .
