Anyone see anything like this before? Looks like white powder inside is the LCD glass of the Stryker 955HPC.
I contacted Stryker and was told to use a blower to blow it out with compressed air, I looked at the assembly and it appears the area is pretty well sealed, difficult to blow it out with compressed air due to sandwhich design of glass to LCD panel. Anyone see anything like this before?

I contacted Stryker, they promptly informed to use some compressed air, didnt work probably got worse. And guess what? They never got back to me again.

So I guess my next question is since Im kicked to the curb by the manufacturer , anyone know what part I need to buy to fix this problem that was presented to me due to their fault?

Mine has a thin plastic film over the face. Looks like some debris got under it. You can either live with it, or remove the protective film.

I should have looked closer. Yeah, looks like it's a bad panel. For th price of these rigs, I know you want it to be perfect. Can you feel it on the surface of the panel? If so, maybe you can polish it out?

Is it Shawn or Sean from Stryker?, he emailed me back last week and advised me to blow some compressed air inside of it, I tried that and it looks worse now, not only that but now I managed to crack the top right corner of the LCD now. All superficial, I know.

I think for me at least it is safe to assume this firm called Stryker puts its users high and dry when they they have a problem. I did my best to contact this organization in a polite and dignified manner , the best I got was " use compressed air" by a person called Shawn or Sean. When that didnt work, my emails to tech support queries were ignored and never responded back to. Anyone is welcome to read to my emails to this shady firm.

You know, I wasnt expecting a free a ride from this firm, all I was wanting was a fix to my LCD screen that their 2 cent an hour factory worker missed in the far east. They could have at min requested I return the unit in under warranty, but they did not. Lets be honest, How much would it have cost him or her from Stryker to help a customer out? But they chose not to.I guess they are too big for that now.

I'd keep pushing the issue, sorry but you paid good money for a new product..
I would try to request an "RMA number" so you can mail it back and get a different one.

Being professional and courteous doesn't work with everyone, you may have to raise a fuss to make it known "this isn't going to fly" i.m.o. they should honour the warranty against "manufacturer defects".

LOL, you are spot on! Request an RMA number, cheers. I think I approached the situation wrong. Will do that.
