I bought one recently that has no transmit and nothing (no tx and no RX) on SSB. if anyone has a schematic or what have ya i'd be great appreciated!!!!

Can't find any reference to that radio. Closest thing listed is "38260700". Covered in Sams CB vol 254. No idea how close it is (or isn't) to yours. That "1800" last four digits just doesn't come up anywhere.

Do any lights come on? Test the P.A. function and see if it works. Is this dual powered version. If it is I have four of them here and they all work. Most of these don't have the AC power cord available, one of mine does.

Nope it's dc only. No ac cord. It's like it doesn't exist. I have found nothing on it.... nothing at all. I was hoping some one at least had the original book on it with the schematics.

The identifying printed-circuit board type number is easier to find on some radios than it is on others.

Now and again you'll see a main pcb in a radio with no number at all.

And someone else will tell you that it's a "94V-O" board.

No, that is the flameproofing rating of the circuit board material. Lots of boards say that.

Does anyone know if you can replace the 2290 in a galaxy dx 93t twin turbine with a 2sc2879 red dot? If so, what would have to be tuned?
