Glass factory

Bwaaahhahaha.....I wish. I still run QRP at 100 watts. I started a home brew HF amp last year and got sidetracked after getting the 4500 volt power supply wired up. Now I need to get back at it and get the RF deck and blower wired up. I probably should get the meter panel done first so I can monitor the shit as it hits the fan. Lots can happen with a 3CX3000A7 when things go wrong.

You were asking questions about this thing on the amforum years ago. I guess im not the only one with extended long term projects.

Yeah that was when I was trying to decide what to use for tubes. Back then I had four sockets and filament transformers for 3-500ZG's but no tubes. I had a 3CX3000A7 but no filament transformer, choke or socket. Since my initial questions on amforum.com I was given a filament transformer and a pair of sockets as well as a few extra 3CX3000A7's that were pulled from FM broadcast service. Eventually it made sense what to use and in typical fashion I started buildingt it then got sidetracked for the better part of a year. I'll get back to it this fall or winter.

Hello gentlemen and Ladies. I have the dreaded RCI-2990 receive issue where my radio gets distorted when people get close to my location. I found the C90 Capacitor, but I can not for the life of me find the C89 capacitor. Can or does anyone have a picture of the exact location of C89 ? Thank you in advance, Wes
