Looks BRAND new - gosh - I hate it when a tech comes up the drive with fancy stuff but uses the old and well thumbed - dragged_behind_a_horse stuff to check the washing machine...

Back in the day you had to have one of these to check live transistor circuits.

Yes I still have it and it still works .

And you had to have one of these as well. Just checking the junctions was not enough.
The best way to test transistors for function was the Sencore.

You guys have humbled me with the responses here. I truly appreciate you giving of your experience. I don't think I warrant a multi-hundred or thousand dollar item as of yet, but it is cool to see the high strata items.

This really what you want the CN-801 is a true peak reading meter and you do have to have the power supply plugged in for true peak function.
