WTB: LDG external meter for FT-857D

That does not look like an original LDG meter. Probably a cheap clone. I see they have been discontinued from LDG so it must be a clone. I have the original FT-METER with the yellow meter scale and white light and it is a great addition to the FT-857D.

Looking to buy or trade a Yeasu FT25 for a nice working meter. Prefer the newer blue one.

I am not usually a fan of MFJ but their auto tuners are an exception.I have the MFJ 929 on my ICOM 746 & it will tune anything I plug into it & my LDG AT-1000 will not tune them at all.The MFJ not only will tune them but very quickly.I just wish the MFJ 929 would handle the Kilowatt of power.LDG service SUCKS as well.I sent the AT-1000 to them for service several years ago & it took weeks & they took forever to answer the phone when I called about it & then the guy acted as if I was causing them issues by calling & checking on my tuner. I will never spend another penny on anything LDG makes no matter what.

I have owned many MFJ products. The auto tuners are great. The adventure radios are awesome. I won't buy any of their antennas, poor quality control.

Well...I just discovered that they made an extra large version of this meter. Bummer, had I known that, I'd got one of them. I must say, the NB sucks bad on the 857. Very disappointing.
