What's the best low-end (yeah I know those two words don't go together) or "minimum" meter capable of 1k watts that you'd use? I'm not going to be modding radios or amps, I just want/need something reliable to keep an eye on my system. Right now I'm using a Astatic PDC2, bought at a truck stop just to get the antenna tuned, but I need something more reliable and capable.
Thanks for any input.

I hope you like it. I was thinking it wasn’t a *true* peak reading meter, but according to DX engineering, it sounds like it is.

Please do let us know what you think of it. I might just buy one to compliment my 901 for mobile work.
