It would be fun to use it as a cb beacon but in reality I'm sure most people would use it illegally just to be annoying.

the cb wizard here when it operates has a range of 30 miles west(people in tampa can hear it) and 30 miles east(winterhaven and east) it comes on every 2 minutes and has a 1 minutes message, but does key over any one keyed down talking,,, here where i am at it knocks all communication on 19 down i live about 5 miles from where they set it up,,,pain in the a$$, even the truckers say it is worthless making it hard to get help finding their warehouses,,,,

To be clear, if you hear an agitator or a truck stop advertiser that has a repeated message, the Wizard is not the device that’s normally being used. Solid state memory boxes that connect between the mic and radio have been around for a long time. Not to mention all the tiny repeat modules that has a variety of uses. These devices are cheap and far more practical for mobile and indoor use. Also, the large size of the Wizard is obviously obsolete.
