Installed it on my old clunky 2003 Kia Rio. Very solid. I have my Little Tarheel on first. I'll eventually mount my 102" whip.

How did you “back” the sheet metal curvature?

“Why” that exact location versus others?

And, are you running air pressure in that tire a few pounds higher to overcome the reluctance of a sewing machine motor against more drag? Second battery to keep that wheel on the ground, right? (Emoji just a’smilin’)

I’m assuming the lines run down the starboard side to controls near the driver. Boxes underseat or in trunk?

With the post above, it sure does look great!

“Why” that exact location versus others

There was very little curvature there. The backing plate pulled everything together tightly. The thick gasket helped take up slack, too. There was metal bracing in that area which forced that particular location. It's very tight and the sheet metal barely flexes.
