I have this old Galaxy DX 949 that has a broken L15 ECIFT12258 , anyone have one?
Since this poor radio is a mess, I mess with it in my spare time. The Issue: Receive is two channels off, 10.2400 is right on, L14 adjusted for 3v. Next step PLL alignment and someone broke L15. This thing has been around the block 10-50 times from what I was told. So I finished it off by trying to move L15. destroyed, oh well.
My issue at the moment when L15 was working:
AM Frequency:
Set radio to CH 20 AM RX mode. Connect frequency counter to TP3.
L20 16.51000 MHz ±20
On TP3 I get 16.52922 Adjust L20, it doesn't do much of anything.
USB and LSB are spot on.
