From my side, channel 15 is the new channel 6. Overmodulated, splatter bags taking up a good 5 channels or so. Knocks my 16LSB right out.I heard the WDX station outside of Waco, TX talking to New York. WDX 128 was fading in and out. I held a QSO myself with 945. Then there is this one group on LSB 16 that was hogging the channel non-stop from before noon until well after 1:30 - when I left for lunch.
There is activity, but it is modest.
I'll try again this eveningI've been hearing the WDX128 most of the day, I just can't get his attention...Well, I guess it's the conditions although he is booming in here.

Another major solar flare, but this time from an active region just beginning to turn into view off the east limb. It is possible that the group responsible is old AR 3654 from the previous rotation. The latest flare, an X2.99 event just peaked at 14:38 UTC (May 15). Stay tuned |
