Thank you Superlid !
(You are producing some questionmarks LOL ! )

Gizmotchy: Yes, how could i have forgotten. I always had the impression it is the same as jo-gunn for some reason..

Workman: The site seems down ? No updates from 2004 and pictures wont load... anyone else have that problem ?
But seems the antennas are still in production ?
Could anyone confirm this ?

Hy-gain: Is DX-engineering these days ? Yes..they still have the super penetrator, i remember the famous 5el long john !

Crushcraft... no dedicated CB antennas ?

Tagra: Yes... they used to have a copy of the avanti sigma 4 and beams to... now still have a couple verticals !

Zero five... already on list

JK no dedicated CB antennas ?

Optibeam... no dedicated CB antennas ?

DX-engineering... i found this one : https://compactenna.com/#PH6 thats a new one ! ...any others i am missing for CB ?
(PS from the website: :-)
Gain: Nominal 7(+) dB-MEG – Mean Effective Gain in the dynamic obstructed environments
of the world we live in, with COMPACtenna’s ‘PERFECT CB’ diverse EM (ElectroMagnetic) fields –
phase diversity in same and orthogonal polarizations-elliptical polarization)
i

Diamond... no dedicated CB antennas ?

Comet.. no dedicated CB antennas ?

Maldol ...no dedicated CB antennas ?

Xiegu...no dedicated CB antennas ?
(though maybe moxon is comming think space-dx is a reseller or brand of them is on the list)

M2: Already on the list

Wolf River: No dedicated CB antennas ?

So for now that leaves:
Gizmotchy, Hygain, Compactenna,Tagra
I have added them....thanks again !

How about those others...?
Workman still in buisness ?

Up to date list is here:
Gizmotchy is owned by the same guy as Maco

Hy-Gain and Cushcraft are owned by MFJ, however getting product may be a problem. The Cushcraft antenna is the CB Ringo.

Workman has two base antennas that were recently re-worked so to speak. They are currently in stock. I can speak personally for their 5/8 wave base antenna, as I am the person that re-worked it. It is the best performance for the dollar nowadays IMHO.

I have been working on improving their Starduster recently. They don't sell retail, but anyone that wants one, can order through me if they wish.

Compactenna is a gimmick that I personally don't recommend.

DX Engineering makes antenna hardware for homebrew construction and had some of their own designs at one point, not sure about now. They seem to be more of a retailer these days, than the antenna company they once were.

I added manufacturers that had multiband antennas that could be tuned to 11m Sorry if that doesn't count.

There are some that make mobile antennas too, but not sure if you are listing them here.

Tram/Browning, Comtelco/Mark, PCTEL/Maxrad, Laird, Larsen, Radioddity, Stryker,

Thank you Superlid !

lll update the page with your remarks.
...For which i am truly gratefull... !

No need to say sorry, it is my mistake...i should have mentioned it.
I did have the idea to include them at start, but realised i would have to add many more.(lots of T2FD's...log periodics etc out there. And to list companies like harris r&s etc..well that doesnt really fit CB-antennas anymore)

Guess im with "dedicated CB" and "in production" as foundation.

Understood about the re-designing...always a good thing to look at antennas again after a couple years !
I have questioned myself a few times.. for example Maco... as you can clearly see they stick to very old traditional designs. Dont get me wrong..most or "oke" with one or two exceptions, but without a doubt all can be improved.

The mobile antennas...well I allready listed a couple, so keep them coming !

Thank you !

Kind regards,

Henry

Cushcraft is the AR-11. I believe currently, if one could get their hands on one, it is actually an extended AR-10.

Shark is in business. The have monoband whip style antennas.

PCTEL/Maxrad and Comtelco both have CB models

The UK made junk peddler has several models for amateur and CB. I forget the name.

Thank you Superlid !

My apologize it took a bit longer this time, free time was spare over the last couple of days HI.

The Cushcraft isnt listed on the manufacturers website, maybe i am not looking correct ?
Cushcraft is MFJ : https://mfjenterprises.com/collections/cushcraft

The Shark was already listed, ( Tiger Shark) but im still missing a company website.
if anyone has a company website ....welcomed !

Comtelco
(mobile-mark) was added !

The PCtel...(maxrad) Strange thing is im not seeing any CB antennas on the company website.
I did add them to the list, as I do see them in the aftermarket:
for example the MLB2700 here:
Anyone with a link to the CB-antennas on the manufacturer website of PCtel is welcomed !
The Uk manufacuter most likely is Vortex as it is the only one i know who has an avanti look-a-like.

Anyone with other brands/companies... please feel free to share !
(must be dedicated CB antennas and in production)

The updated list is here:

Superlid, thank you !

British junky antenna peddler, that uses all of the names/designs of yesteryear, goes by Sigma. His antennas look alike, but are not built alike.

Shark is a wholesale distributor that sells through the dealer network. They state that the monoband mobile antennas are USA made, so I would think they are coming from Procomm.

Good to see you again Superlid !

Ah yes the ...Sigma they are added ...

The (tiger?) shark antennas, I couldnt find a dedicated company website.
But i do see antennas for sale like the :
Tiger Shark
Which looks the same as :
procomm

Conclusion:
You are correct ! Guess they are indeed just a copy.
Ill remove the "tiger shark" from the list.

I remember an australian manufacturer who had a collinear...but cant remember what they were called, no idea if they are still in business either.
perhaps it rings a bell with anyone?

Updated list is here:
CB-antennas Manufacturers

Thank you guys !
