This came to me as part of a package deal with a radio I bought off the Bay of Fleas. It appears to be a 150 Watt "80 to 10 meter" amp. I do not know if it works or is just a paperweight with power cables. I'm not going to find out, either. I just want it gone.

Full disclosure, it does appear to have been stored in a humid environment. So there's some rust on the screws that hold the transistors to the heat sink, and possibly some inside the relays.

$20 plus shipping. The MRF455's are probably worth more than that to someone who can use them. IF they're any good.

So, if you need the parts, want a restoration project, or just like gambling, this is your chance.

I will take that gamble.... :)

I will Message you.

I saw. Will be responding in a bit.
Passing the deal onto SuperLid, as earlier he messaged me that if it goes through, he wanted it. :P

Tis the season of giving, and I am glad to let SuperLid take the deal from you.

Merry Christmas everyone!

I was using my phone when I messaged, which is a disaster for me. You responded first, so you have first dibs. It is just something I wanted to see out of curiosity. I never had one of those in here yet. Merry Christmas

Its passed onto you. :) Just let us know of your progress when you get some time to get it restored. Even if its months or years down the road, no sweat. Just nice to put a piece of radio back into working order. (Like I did my 23 channel Kraco SSB De Luxe this time last year lol. Damn thing works like a dream after 49 years.)

Have a good one!

Interesting that you mention that Kraco radio. Look at what I did this past week. It works GREAT!

If you guys can wait until Saturday I can get a sawzall and send each of you half.

Hmmm.... maybe that's not the best solution.

Your Kraco is a similar radio to the Hy-Gain V. I tried a Siltronix 90 that I modified. I got so frustrated with it, I tried the DDS. HOLY SHEEPSHIT BATMAN!!! I'm going to be working on some DDS VFO's after new years. I need to get the correct offset for various IF's. The one I used was around $40 on Scamazon. Doesn't display the offset, but fir now, a little math goes a long way. I get really good reports from everyone, local and DX, with the factory stock mic. RX is great too! I am really loving the dinosaurs at the moment.

I am on 16 LSB several times a week, as well as 36-40 with the DDS. These 23 channel Cybernets were great radios, I don't care what some people think or say.
for whatever reason, the modulation from the Midland 40 channel Cybernet radio struggles so hard... I recapped the whole radio and that did nothing for it lol. You have to yell into the mic for it to do anything. 1st radio I am gonna sell off once I get around to it lol.
