Does any body know the frequency range of this meter. And does anybody have a schematic for this unit as you can't check modulation it just can't be set. I'm open to ideas. I'm just trying to get it go for my friend he just needs it for a reference. Thank You in advance.

The modulation readings from any Dosey are pretty much worthless, looks pretty when that needle swings but that's it.

Video review of meter here with some inside pics:

I have 3 different Dosy meters and have never burnt up a radio using them but I consider them Home Owner Grade equipment. I had my first one calibrated to a Bird meter at a local radio repair shop and set the other 2 to match the first. But then again I never figured on going into business with them. Just my humble opinion !

I like the Dosy, I leave it on-line. It's a good reference incase anything goes wrong with the antenna or cables outside the house. Anytime I make a change to the station I check it with the Bird Meter first before transmitting.

Hello gentlemen and Ladies. I have the dreaded RCI-2990 receive issue where my radio gets distorted when people get close to my location. I found the C90 Capacitor, but I can not for the life of me find the C89 capacitor. Can or does anyone have a picture of the exact location of C89 ? Thank you in advance, Wes
