Hi sorry if this is in the wrong title.
I need some help to get my radio working again.
I have a CRE 8900 it was working great Dxing approx. 1000 miles, switched it off, came back to it some 2 hrs later,
the SWR meter showed super low output Wattage (1.2 watts) I bought a new watt meter and this confirmed it.
The SWR all along has been 1.2. (all bands are 1 to 1.6 watts)
The output stage is two - IFR520 but there are 3 of them on the heat sink.
I have replaced all cables, SWR meter .... as a mater of course.
Psu is all good and up to voltage and amps.
Has anyone else had this problem and is there anyone who knows how to fix it
I am an electronics guy so I can do stuff ok .
