How come you can not simply go directly to the battery? Did they hide it under a head light or under an air intake or filter or something???? That is something I always hated about GM.....They have a tendency to put a lot of junk on top of and around the battery. I think that is why AutoZone sells so many batteries in Michigan they install them for free. Their where some Cadillac that had their batteries hidden under the back seat. So to jump start you have little stud like posts under the hood
